Does insurance cover hail damage?

Comprehensive coverage pays for hail damage minus your deductible; liability-only policies don’t cover it. Some shops offer to cover part of the deductible — check that this is legal in your state.

How long does hail repair take?

Light hail damage repaired with PDR can take a day or two; a car with hundreds of dents or replaced panels may take a week or more, especially right after a big storm.
